[The problem with that is she wants him to be more than fine. She wants him to be happy, to feel safe, to have days with no pain or sick feelings, no nightmares.

Fine is all well and good, but he deserves more. She pats his hand and stands up, moving back to the table to start measuring herbs into a small bag for him.]

You brew it like any other kind of tea, and if you drink it before traveling it should prevent you from feeling any of the negative effects at all.

[She smiles and closes her eyes when he goes and does that, lifting her hands to rest them on his arms once he's close enough.]

[It might be harder if he weren't using did not, did so to plead his case. It is very distracting, though, and she leans into his touch even as she raises an eyebrow at him.]

Why wouldn't it? We went on a lovely walk and then I got you into my bed. You'd think that would count twice.

[She'll close that last little bit of distance herself, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.]

[He returns the kiss just as softly, the hand that's not still holding his cup of tea coming to touch the side of her face.]

[That might have been a bad move if he was going for intimacy, because now she draws away from him to retrieve a small pot with a tiny, leafy plant in it.]

You might do well with mint. When it flowers it has lovely purple blossoms and the leaves are good for calming a stomach as well. Plus everyone loves the way mint smells.

[That's fine, because he has to draw near to inspect the plant, hands resting over hers as he does so.]

[She smiles as she watches his hands cover hers, making them look so small against the side of the pot.]

From the start of our stay on Mor. I spent a large portion of my time there transplanting and gathering seeds, I wasn't sure we'd get that chance again.

[And fighting dragons who ended up being her friend but we don't have to talk about that.]
