[There's still so much she wants to say, though. She wants to promise him a place in Skyhold, because as much as she loves her clan she doesn't see herself return to them permanently. She's changed too much, seen too much of the world to go back to such a small life. Her friends, should they stay with her after all of this, are too dear.

But he's never been anything but devoted to his homeland, and even if she hates that it tears him up this way begging him to stay away for his own safety seems cruel. What if he did, just to please her? Out of fear he might lose such a close friend? She wouldn't - couldn't - risk that.]

We've only a few days left. I'd share with you, if you wanted. I'm lacking a few of the parts you're drawn to, but I wouldn't want you to feel so lonely.
